LGBTQIA+

Providing a safe haven for all students is a necessity as educators, and we do so by being an ally and addressing issues of acceptance in the classroom.

Representation is also a key factor in creating a safe, accepting space for all students. Showing artists from the LGBTQIA+ community as well as other content such as ideas and philosophies that are accepting and understanding will translate through the students and in turn, they will begin to practice these ideas.
